The Bolaven Plateau: Here is a great blog about what to expect if you choose to do the motorbike loop around the Bolaven Plateau.
Exact Location: 1.5 kilometers from the town entrance. Jhai is on the main road on the right hand side and it sits up a little hill. We are about 300 meters west of the BECL Bank in Paksong, which has a working ATM for tourists. Click here for google maps.
Hotels / Guest Houses: We suggest Savannah Guest House 80,000 kip and Phu Theveda 100,000-250,000 kip
Paksong Restaurants: Kham Toan (Vietnamese), Phu Theveda (Chinese, Lao, Thai, Indian), Sabaidee Valley located at kilometer 35.
Waterfalls: Tad Champi, Tad Yeung, Tad Fan, Tad Saulin / Tayeucsua - View map below.
Important! There are no official motorbike rentals in Paksong. We recommend that you find Miss Noy in Pakse and rent a motorbike from her. Paksong is ~50 km east of Pakse and we do not advise driving this road at night. If you choose to take the local bus to Paksong, you will not have transportation to get around to the local waterfalls, restaurants and the JCFC warehouse. There are also car rental options in Pakse if you prefer that option.
